Assistant Room Supervisor β ME17 β Β£12.14 per hour β 40 hours per week
This beautiful Grade II listed barn located in the heart of Boughton Monchelsea, Maidstone. They have been open since October 2011 and since opening their doors they have grown into a unique and popular setting.
This setting strives to provide a warm, nurturing environment in which we can deliver a high standard of education and care so your child can develop the confidence and skills they need ready for when they start school!
The setting is looking for an assistant room supervisor, full time.

What we need from you:
- A full and relevant level 3 in childcare
- Prior experience working with children
- Knowledge in Child development and children\βs needs
- Ability to work with parents/carers to encourage partnership working
- Ability to communicate well with adults and children
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability, flexibility and willingness to take on other responsibilities or duties as deemed necessary
Your duties will include:
- Taking charge of a key group of children
- Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
- Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
- Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children
- Assisting the room supervisor with training and day to day duties
- Covering as room supervisor when needed
