What You\βll Be Doing:
- Lead and inspire: Support your Manager and help your team deliver a consistent, high-quality kitchen experience.
- Coach the team: Show your colleagues the best ways to safely use and maintain kitchen equipment, prep food, and keep things running smoothly.
- Keep it tidy & safe: Ensure the kitchen is always clean, well-stocked, and meeting food hygiene and safety standards.
- Spot ways to improve: From reducing waste to improving processes, your ideas will make a real difference.
- Team support: Help with scheduling, training, and coaching so the right people are in the right roles, ready to shine.
- Communication matters: Run quick, motivating team huddles to keep everyone on the same page and the kitchen running like clockwork.
Hours & Schedule:
- Off-peak (term time): 22.75 hours per week
- Peak (school holidays): 26.5 hours per week
- Includes alternate weekends
- No late nightsβthe kitchen closes at 3:30pm, so your evenings are yours
