We are seeking 2 dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team, 1 Full-time and 1 Part-time (24 hours p/w). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure that all holiday homes are well-stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate team members.
- Assist in laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Purchasing of materials, equipment and other supplies when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in a hotel environment is an advantage, showcasing familiarity with hospitality standards.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all areas of responsibility.
