We are seeking a dedicated Product / Project Manager to become an essential part of our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Executive Team, you will immerse yourself in our product landscape, working closely with engineering, quant finance, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and evolution of our investment management platform.

You will play a key role in coordinating R&D initiatives, product development, and client-driven projects, translating strategic goals into well-defined deliverables and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and transparently. This role combines product ownership, project coordination, and stakeholder communication, making it central to the continued growth and quality of our software platform. You will also provide regular updates and reporting to the Executive Team, helping maintain visibility over product development progress, priorities, and risks.

We have a flexible work arrangement where successful candidates have the option to work fully remotely or from our office in Edinburgh. Regardless of the choice, candidates must possess the legal right to work in Switzerland or the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Product Management:
    • Develop a strong understanding of our products, platform architecture, and client use cases.
    • Work with the Executive and engineering teams to define and maintain the product roadmap.
    • Translate product strategy and business requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and development tasks.
    • Help prioritise product initiatives based on business value, technical considerations, and client needs.
    • Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure features are thoroughly tested and meet functional requirements before release.
  • Project Management:
    • Coordinate and manage R&D initiatives, internal development efforts, and client implementation projects.
    • Plan and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
    • Identify risks, dependencies, and resource constraints early, and help implement mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure alignment between engineering, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders.
    • Facilitate agile processes including planning sessions, backlog refinement, and progress reviews where appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Project / Product Management, or related roles within portfolio management, order management, or investment management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with and passionate about the investments industry, including key market players, trends, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex information, identify solutions, and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (German is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with AI platforms such as ChatGPT.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and self-driven attitude, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Swiss / UK nationality or valid Swiss / UK work permit.
