Our MICO branded product ranges possess the highest performance ratings for locking systems in the global marketplace and the company continues to design, develop and roll out innovative new products using the latest technologies and highest quality materials.
Due to progressive growth, opportunities have become available for new CNC machining operatives to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Set up and running of Conventional, semi-CNC and Fully automated CNC machines
- Machine of products for both production and research and development purposes
- Have experience in the machining of different types of material
- Use Haas and XYZ controls effectively
- Use Setup sheets and drawings to machine various parts to a high level of accuracy, to tight deadlines with minimum supervision
- Measure all the parts machined to drawings
- Single shift pattern, Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1630 and Friday 0800 - 1530
The Person
- The successful candidate will already understand the processes involved in high-quality, high-volume manufacturing.
- Applicants should therefore possess the following attributes:
- Reliability, trustworthiness and a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and have good manual dexterity
- Must be a team player with a "Can Do" attitude
- Experience within the field of production/mechanical engineering would be beneficial but not essential
- Must be flexible in approach, willing to take on other tasks and be responsive to changing demands and situations
