Our MICO branded product ranges possess the highest performance ratings for locking systems in the global marketplace and the company continues to design, develop and roll out innovative new products using the latest technology and highest quality materials.
An opportunity has become available for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this strategically important and challenging role you will be required to:
- Ensure all Raw Materials, Manufactured and Finished Parts are examined to the correct specifications.
- Ensure all non-conformities are analysed in accordance with the company ISO 9001 Quality System.
- Perform audits of the goods received, manufacturing and assembly quality procedures.
- Show effective control of non-conforming product.
- Maintain and document the calibration of company measuring equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other internal teams and customers to deliver the best solution for the business.
Single shift pattern, Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1630 and Friday 0800 - 1530.
The successful candidate will already understand the inspection processes involved in high-quality, high-volume manufacturing. Applicants should therefore possess the following attributes:
- Team player with good communication skills and a “Can Do” attitude.
- Reliability, trustworthiness and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to be creative, logical, and practical with a keen interest in technology.
- Must be smart and well presented.
- You will be naturally hard-working, results focused, and enthusiastic.
- Proficient with MS Office and have good general telephone and computer skills.
- Must be flexible in approach, willing to take on other tasks and be responsive to changing demands.
