Learning Coach Vocational and SIA Trainer (Full Time Teaching role) May/June start £31,333 including car allowance Openshaw, Manchester Permanent Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday plus 34 days holidays (inc bank holidays) to start rising to 43 after year 5, support, CPD, induction, IT Kit, eye tests, Long serve rewards, wellbeing initiatives, birthday off, progression opportunities and much more.

Are you an experienced security professional with a passion for developing others? We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable SIA Vocational Tutor to join our college team and help shape the next generation of security professionals. About the Role

As an SIA Vocational Tutor, you will deliver engaging, high-quality training that motivates learners and supports them in achieving their qualifications on time. You will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to the continuous improvement of our programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate learners, identifying barriers and adapting delivery to meet individual needs
  • Drive learner progress and achievement, ensuring timely completion of qualifications
  • Embed Maths, English, and Digital Skills into teaching (where applicable)
  • Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback to support learner development
  • Work closely with IQAs to ensure quality standards, sampling, and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, supporting progression and generating new opportunities
  • Produce accurate and timely reports aligned with agreed KPIs
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials
  • Demonstrate and promote the Group's values through positive behaviours and attitude

Essential Requirements

  • Significant front-line security experience within the last 5 years in the UK
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 Award in Delivery of Conflict Management
  • Level 3 Award in Delivery of Physical Intervention
  • Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Coaching qualification
  • PGCE or recognised teaching qualification
  • Assessor qualification
  • Knowledge of government-funded training programmes

Full training will be provided for candidates who meet the essential criteria.
