Study Programme Tutor - English, Employability and some maths when needed to cover 3 centres: Bury, Oldham and Accrington. Up to £30k depending on experience plus a company car - working for one of the UK's largest training and apprenticeship providers.

We are currently looking for an Employability Tutor to join our client's successful Study Programme Team. The Team delivers two pre-apprenticeship programmes: Employability Skills, English and Maths, and In-centre Traineeships in our clients' 3 centres around Accrington, Bury and Oldham.

Both programmes are tailored to the needs of students aged 16-19 who are not ready or able to directly enter an Apprenticeship, employment or other post-16 alternative. This challenging and rewarding role will suit a passionate and engaging tutor with proven experience and/or desire to work with learners between the ages of 16 – 19.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to support the progress and development of learners aged 16-19
  • Plan and prepare engaging and interactive learning sessions
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor learner progress
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve their goals
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with trainees, employers, and colleagues

  • Experience in delivering training to young people
  • Passionate about supporting the development and progression of young adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
