Our client is looking for a

Pensions Skills Development Tutor to support the next generation of Pensions professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Pensions industry experience, particularly in

Pensions Administration , who would like to move into a coaching and mentoring role.

You don't need previous formal teaching experience. If you have experience of coaching, mentoring or training colleagues , our client will support you in developing the skills required to become an effective Pensions Skills Development Tutor.

The Role You will support apprentices working across a range of employers, helping them develop their

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) through their day-to-day work and supporting them towards the

Award in Pensions Essentials .

The role is predominantly remote, with attendance at the client's Manchester Head Office approximately once per quarter .
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of learners, supporting progression, achievement and repeat business.
  • Plan and deliver engaging face-to-face and blended digital learning programmes.
  • Develop learning materials that build learners' knowledge and understanding of the Pensions industry.
  • Mark and provide constructive feedback on learner work, setting clear actions for progression.
  • Track learner progress against Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) and identify potential risks to timely achievement.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and work towards agreed KPIs.
  • Undertake and record relevant industry and pedagogical CPD.
  • Ensure appropriate learner risk assessments are completed and reviewed.
  • Contribute to internal quality assurance and the team's continuing professional development.

About You We're looking for someone who

  • Significant number of years
  • Pensions industry experience

  • Has experience in

Pensions Administration or a related Pensions role.

  • Has experience of coaching, mentoring or training colleagues.
  • Can motivate and inspire learners using real-life Pensions industry experience.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can plan and organise workload effectively and manage a learner caseload.
  • Is confident using digital systems, e Learning platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • Has good IT skills, including spreadsheets, email, diary management and computerised management information systems.
  • Has up-to-date knowledge of the Pensions industry and relevant professional qualifications where appropriate.
