Warehousing and Storage Assessor to start in September / October 2024
Based in HMP Oakham, Rutland East Midlands
7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (No Friday working)
25k plus brilliant benefits including 45p a mile when traveling out to support other training centres

Do you have experience of delivering Warehousing and Storage and/or levels 1 and 2 ? Do you have experience of delivering small workshops to groups in a classroom setting and have an assessor qualification ? If yes, this could be your next move.
Your role as Warehousing and Storage Assessor will be to deliver a high quality vocational competency based curriculum up to a Level 2 utilising awarding body standards/criteria, fully understanding the standards for the awards being delivered and assessed.
You will ensure that all learner records are accurate and maintained in line with policies and procedures, GDPR and contractual requirements.
Making sure a full caseload of learners (in line with contract) is maintained at all times with the generating of starts through excellent communication skills and relationship building with learners and prison staff. You will help overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs. Ensure all learners complete timely in line with our clients delivery model and programme specification. Your role will include monitoring student attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews. Ensuring all completed portfolios are submitted for IQA within 5 days of learner completion.
To apply for the role of Warehousing and Storage Assessor we need you to hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET) and experience of managing a caseload of at least 30 learners (per quarter). A good level of IT skills. Flexibility to work at multiple locations. Full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle, which is insured for business use.
