Our prestigious client focuses on continuous professional development and training courses across a range of subjects. It also delivers several events and conferences and is building its international presence in conjunction with the University's priorities.
This role centres on profiling accounts, building a robust pipeline of prospects, and consistently delivering on weekly sales targets. You will take ownership of key client portfolios, applying strategic account management principles to deepen relationships and identify new opportunities for growth.
By understanding each customer's unique requirements and anticipating evolving needs, you will be positioned to expand our client's suite of offerings and drive increased revenue streams across our customer base. Your proactive approach in nurturing accounts, coupled with creative solution development, will be critical in forging lasting partnerships and unlocking untapped commercial potential.
- Conduct regular strategic review meetings with existing clients to assess impact, adapt programs, and build renewal pipelines.
- Win new business through the corporate client relationship strategy.
- Own and expand a portfolio of key clients through proactive engagement, positioning our commercial training client as a long-term partner in their talent and learning strategies.
- Deepen account relationships by designing and delivering bespoke commercial training solutions tailored to each client's unique requirements, in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and external partners.
- Identify and maximise opportunities for cross-selling and upselling through tailored learning and commercial training offerings that address emerging business challenges and focus on large sales opportunities.
- Lead on new project work to support to shape and evolve our current offering to align with market trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase conference sponsorship opportunities, including identifying suitable sponsors, crafting bespoke packages, and ensuring strong sponsor engagement and return on investment.
- Forge and nurture high-value relationships with senior stakeholders across various sectors, ensuring repeat business and expanding partnerships through insight-led conversations.
- Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline, providing accurate revenue forecasts and reporting on strategic opportunities aligned with objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, academic partners, and delivery teams to co-develop compelling value propositions and ensure effective client onboarding and delivery.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and policy changes to keep SPDs offerings competitive and relevant.
We are looking for experienced sales professionals with strong sales skills, experience of managing corporate accounts and a background/experience of generating a client portfolio of over £200k per year. You will also have great consultative sales experience along with knowledge of current affairs and policy.
