Software Sales Consultant (Business Development/Employability/Apprenticeships background) Permanent Full Time £35k plus OTE circa £59k in year 2 (uncapped commission) Manchester Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home, 23 days holidays plus bank holidays, company pension contribution, access to private medical scheme, 4pm Friday finish, social events throughout the year, birthday leave Hybrid, national travel to conferences, exhibitions, awards events Our well established North West client have been serving the skills and employability sectors for many years developing case management software to UK government funded organisations such as local authorities, private training organisations and companies who specialise in apprenticeship training and getting people back into work UK wide. They are a growing family business with a dynamic team, winning contracts with strong repeat revenue meaning they are in a strong position and growth is set to accelerate. Working as a part of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business by prospecting new organisations via cold calling and converting leads that are generated by Marketing/ Telesales activity and conferences and events We are looking for candidates with significant experience in software sales or sales within the skills and employability sector. Our clients software is designed around business processes, selling a solution to fit customers need, so it would be ideally suited to someone with an ability to understand process and apply it to a software solution. We are looking for a self-starter who can be pro-active in this role. Your success will depend on being able to actively manage customer accounts and ultimately drive sales. The successful candidate will need to be able demonstrate a comprehensive, business critical software system with numerous application modules, into a complex market sector – we need someone with that ability; to learn on their feet and take ownership of the education process on our products and customers’ businesses. New Business Development, sourcing new potential leads via email shots, cold calling, conference attendance and market analysis Sales presentations and software demonstrations to potential clients mainly online with some face to face, based UK wide.
