Based in HMP Buckley, Rochdale, Lancashire, this role offers a fulfilling four-day workweek, Monday to Thursday, with a start date in May 2025. The position is permanent, with a salary of £25k plus great benefits including birthday off after the first year of service and 4 loyalty days after 5 years of service. Annual leave is equivalent to 5 weeks holidays plus bank holidays per year, along with ongoing training, professional development, and mentoring opportunities.

Your role as FLT instructor will be to deliver high-quality FLT courses to groups of three learners, instructing and testing them to RTITB standards. You will ensure that all learner records are accurate and maintained in line with policies and procedures, GDPR, and contractual requirements. You will identify suitable learners through excellent communication skills and relationship building with learners and prison staff, helping to overcome barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learners' needs.

Ensure all learners complete timely in line with our clients' delivery model and programme specification. You will ensure the paperwork for each completed course is sent to Head office each week.
