Role Overview
As an Employability Officer, you will enhance relationships with employers across South Wales to secure job opportunities and work placements for our clients’ participants.
You will actively match learners with work placements and job opportunities, conduct health and safety assessments, and ensure both employer and participant experiences are positive and productive.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers to secure suitable employment opportunities for participants.
- Conduct health and safety assessments for employers and related work placements.
- Monitor and support participants and employers throughout placement to address concerns and offer guidance.
- Attend events, job fairs, and marketing activities to promote our services to potential learners and employers.
- Collaborate with the team to match learners with appropriate work placements and job opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working with unemployed adults and young people.
- Background in recruitment or youth support/youth working environments.
- Excellent customer service skills and a natural ability to build relationships.
- DBS check required (cost covered) and EWWC registration required.
