Working on our clients Restart Scheme, that gives Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 12 months enhanced support to find jobs in their local area. Following referral from their local Jobcentre Plus, participants receive 12 months of intensive personal support from the Restart Scheme. This support helps them to break down their barriers to work and secure sustained employment.
We are looking for people with a really engaging personality with lots of energy – not only win over participants on programme, but also work closely with the team.
Do you have a background in training (L&D, Internal trainer, Retail trainer or College etc.)? Are you a school/college teacher? Do you have a passion for wanting to train adults and have a clear understanding of the challenges and difficulties of training adults?
- Preparing and delivering training
- Assessing and evaluating results and providing performance feedback
- Maintaining a professional training environment classroom management
- Promoting courses to internal and external stakeholders
- Ideally a recognised Teaching qualification such as PTTLS or PGCE - or willing to be funded to complete a tutor/teacher training course as part of your CPD
- Ability to work to strict targets and with people from various backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience of working in the welfare-to-work or any other similar relevant sector
- Background in preparing and delivering training courses
- A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma
- GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.

- Ability to empathise with our clients members and motivate them - Passion for delivering excellent training and making long-term positive changes for our members
- Resilience, creativity and adaptability
- Willingness to travel locally (e.g. to deliver training/courses/meet Learners/Employers)
