Permanent, Full Time (9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Our client is one of Wales’ leading training providers of skills and funded services. They deliver traineeships, apprenticeships, employability skills and Jobs Growth Wales through a suite of funded programmes.
Responsibilities
- Provide literacy, numeracy and digital literacy support to learners within workshop or one‑to‑one settings.
- Ensure timely achievement of learners’ Essential Skills qualifications.
- Register, arrange, conduct and invigilate controlled tasks with learners.
- Support and motivate young people during Wellbeing and GoForIt days to improve team working skills and confidence.
- Perform organisational and administrative work, preparation and marking.
- Maintain quality standards and accurate, up‑to‑date records of all assessment activities.
- Monitor and ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all learner documentation required.
- Cover a regional area, travelling to visit learners at various centre locations.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring and achievement of agreed performance targets.
- Continuously develop learning materials and resources to support delivery requirements.
- Maintain positive working relationships with learners and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience delivering Essential Skills Qualifications up to Level 2.
- Full driving licence and ability to use own vehicle.
- Desirable: Qualified Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Desirable: City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting adults and young people in Essential Skills.
- Desirable: L3 Essential Skills Practitioner Certificate.
