The Role We are seeking an Account Director or rising Senior Account Manager with experience with Corpsumer and Consumer Energy PR. As an Account Director, you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of client programmes – whether press office or a creative campaign. You’ll be committed to ensuring work is delivered within budget and on time, as well as meeting our high quality control standards and meeting or exceeding KPIs. You’ll be adept at planning in advance and commercially savvy; responsible for budget management, capacity planning and helping to grow your accounts or identify new income streams. You’ll have experience working on big, multi-layered brand campaigns as well as running efficient press offices and influencer programmes. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in PR, ideally in the consumer lifestyle, corporate mix, consumer tech or FMCG sector. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience writing creative and eye-catching press releases. Existing relevant media contacts within the consumer industry is desirable. Day to day campaign management and managing junior members of the team. Responsibilities & Skills Excellent writing skills. From crafting a compelling news story, to succinct social copy and client comms. Great attention to detail is a must, especially when it comes to spotting spelling mistakes and grammatical errors Creative thinking skills to identify proactive ideas, problem solves, newsjacking opportunities, press office tactics and influencer activations Great organisational skills; juggling your own actions and helping your team members to do the same. Overseeing weekly work planning set by AM and ensuring that team members are clear on their responsibilities Outstanding media relations and an eye for a good story. Watertight knowledge of the media landscape, the ability to spot opportunities for news hijacking – and the passion to make it happen Work well under pressure and previous experience working in a fast-paced, agency environment is essential Strong IT skills across Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint – we use MacBooks at Tin Man Good communications and interpersonal skills at every level, and a high regard for confidentiality when needed Essentially, we’re looking for someone smart, organised and driven – with a proactive attitude who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in Values & Behaviours We’re proud of our dynamic, fun, friendly and supportive culture – and it’s important that all of our employees believe in our values and demonstrate these through their behaviour.
