Role Overview: We're looking for a talented SEO Content Executive to join our growing digital team, based at Timpson House. The successful candidate will work closely with our SEO Content Manager to write engaging website copy across multiple brands, while also supporting with content for email, social media and other marketing channels. The SEO Content Executive will play a key role in the success of our SEO, content and marketing campaigns, producing optimised copy that resonates with our target audiences while improving the search ranking and visibility of our websites.
The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and a desire to learn more about SEO and digital marketing. You'll receive ongoing training and support, making this the perfect opportunity for a content writer looking to take the next step in their career within a friendly, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit and proof-read SEO-optimised website copy for multiple brands
- Produce engaging written content for landing pages, blog posts, product categories, email newsletters, and other marketing channels
- Work with our SEO Content Manager to develop content strategies to improve organic search visibility on Google and AI search platforms
- Optimise product pages with new descriptions, titles and other content
- Research, write and publish blog posts, and assist with creating content calendars
- Create unique localised content for multiple store pages across the UK
- Conduct keyword research and on-page SEO optimisation across web pages, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal links and alt text
- Carry out competitor analysis and identify content gaps and opportunities
- Assist with CMS management, such as uploading and formatting content online
- Learn how to analyse pages and monitor content performance, using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and AI tools
- Work with the marketing team to write, brief, test and schedule email newsletters
Essential Skills and Experience
- Excellent writing skills are essential, with strong attention to detail, grammar and tone
- SEO and marketing experience is desirable but not required, as full training will be provided
- A genuine desire to learn more about SEO, content and digital marketing
- Great organisational skills and the ability to independently manage workload
- Comfortable learning new software and tools (full training will be provided on SEO tools, AI software, and CMS platforms)
