We are looking for a Locksmith Support Advisor to provide an excellent support service to our Mobile Locksmith / Security Team and Customers, ensuring that all calls are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner to enable a smooth and seamless service. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for supporting the optimization of our Locksmiths' workload. You will need to be self-motivated and able to make quick decisions.

Position: Locksmith Support Advisor

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester, UK

Wage: Competitive/Negotiable

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time

Hours: The hours are 40 per week over 5 days, Monday to Saturday (Saturday on a Rota basis) between the hours of 8.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making and receiving telephone calls/emails from Customers and Locksmiths
  • Logging all jobs and liaising with Locksmiths and other workshops
  • Job completions - this will include closing jobs with locksmiths and customers, updating portals and chasing payments
  • Drive revenue-seeking opportunities to exceed customer expectations and requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with great attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
  • Able to use own initiative in solving problems
  • Abundance of common sense
  • Ability to show empathy; our customers rely on us as the 4th emergency service!
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing Department needs.

These skills would be a bonus! But they aren't essential. Previous experience within an outbound sales environment and upselling is preferred. Closing date: Friday 10th October 2025.
