This is a full-time, office-based Internal Sales Executive position in Kingswinford. The role combines sales, customer support and administration. We are looking for someone who is confident speaking with customers, proactive in following up opportunities and equally prepared to complete the day-to-day tasks that are essential in a small team. You will manage enquiries and quotations, support existing customers, assist with outbound sales activity and work closely with our external sales, logistics and technical colleagues. Although the role is office-based, it will also involve occasional travel to visit customers with the sales team and to assist with exhibitions, trade shows and other customer-facing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up quotations and customer enquiries
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Identify opportunities to develop existing accounts
  • Handle inbound sales enquiries by phone and email
  • Support outbound sales and prospecting activities
  • Process orders accurately and maintain customer records in the CRM system
  • Prepare quotations and sales documentation
  • Assist with general sales administration and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Liaise with logistics and technical teams regarding orders and customer requirements
  • Support the external sales team
  • Accompany the sales team on occasional customer visits
  • Assist with the preparation for and attendance at trade shows and exhibitions

Who we are looking for

  • A previous experience in sales, customer service or another customer-facing role in B2B is helpful, but attitude and willingness to learn are equally important with the following skills:
  • High responsibility to manage customers directly
  • Confident communication skills, both by phone and email
  • A proactive and organized approach to work
  • Willingness to take responsibility for both sales' activity and administration
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive and reliable approach to work
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for customer visits, training and exhibitions
  • Good written and spoken English, additional European languages would be beneficial
  • Experience in an industrial, technical or manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but is not essential
