Not everyone wants to be a generalist. Some people actually like the technical stuff. Consolidations. Complex accounts. Awkward reporting questions. Review points that need proper thought, not just a quick tidy-up. If that sounds like the part of the job you enjoy, this role is worth looking at.

This is a Financial Reporting Team Senior role within a long-established accountancy and advisory firm in Horsham. You’ll be joining a dedicated Financial Reporting Team that sits within the wider Accounts service line, working closely with Audit teams, Partners and other departments.

At the moment, the team is mainly internally focused, preparing high-quality accounts for audit. But that is only part of the story. The firm is preparing to take this financial reporting offering to market, which means there is a real opportunity to get involved before the service line becomes more externally facing. That is the interesting bit.

You would be joining at a point where the team already has a clear purpose, but still has room to grow. Over time, the work is expected to expand into larger, more complex external assignments, with more direct exposure to external auditors.
