Our client, a UK professional services firm offering audit, tax, advisory and consulting services, is looking for an ambitious Audit Manager to join its award-winning Social Purpose team and develop a specialism in Social Housing. The role can be based in London, the Midlands or Manchester, with flexible and part-time working arrangements available.

What The Job Involves
- Managing a portfolio of external audit clients, delivering a proactive, year-round service
- Managing audit teams, ensuring work is completed to budget and timescale from planning through to completion
- Acting as principal contact for your clients throughout the year
- Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and Audit Committees or Boards
- Directing, coaching and mentoring audit teams to support engagement delivery
- Getting involved in business development, proposals and presentations for new work
What You'll Need
- Qualified ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Strong people-management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues
- Experience of audits in the non-profit sector is desirable but not essential
