Our client, a UK professional services firm offering audit, tax, advisory and consulting services, is looking for an ambitious Audit Manager to join its award-winning Social Purpose team and develop a specialism in Social Housing. The role can be based in London, the Midlands or Manchester, with flexible and part-time working arrangements available.

What The Job Involves
Managing a portfolio of external audit clients, delivering a proactive, year-round service
Managing audit teams, ensuring work is completed to budget and timescale from planning through to completion
Acting as principal contact for your clients throughout the year
Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and Audit Committees or Boards
Directing, coaching and mentoring audit teams to support engagement delivery
Getting involved in business development, proposals and presentations for new work
What You'll Need
Qualified ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent
Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
Strong people-management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues
Experience of audits in the non-profit sector is desirable but not essential
