We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our Wills & Probate team, managing a varied caseload and supporting colleagues while delivering outstanding client care. This role is about more than just technical expertise; it is about being a trusted adviser to individuals and families at key life moments.

Your role

  • Manage your own caseload of private client matters including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts.
  • Provide supervision to junior colleagues and contribute to the department's continued success.
  • Handle a varied caseload of private client matters.
  • Supervise and mentor secretarial and junior fee earning staff.
  • Deliver excellent client care and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Ensure accurate billing, time recording and credit control.
  • Uphold confidentiality and SRA compliance at all times.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external organisations effectively.
  • Support the promotion and business development of the department.

To thrive in this role, you will need to:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor or fully qualified Legal Executive with proven Wills & Probate experience.
  • Possess excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Be confident managing your own caseload independently.
  • Show experience supervising staff (or readiness to take this on).
  • Be proactive, organised and dedicated to high standards of service.
