The GGB Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our products across a defined customer base. This role is remote and based out of Dallas, TX or another preferred location within the West Territory. The position involves both direct and indirect management of key accounts, developing deep product expertise, and driving improvements in business processes to support the successful scaling of our product lines.
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth through direct management of key accounts and indirect management through the utilization of Timken’s Management Sales Team.
- Serve as the product specialist on GGB bearings, including application targets, product features, and design requirements.
- Train, coach, and promote GGB product lines across the sales team in the U.S. with the goal of driving scale.
- Improve business processes as the product line scales, providing direct involvement and feedback to customer service, engineering, supply chain, and other functional areas.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and develop key account plans to meet or exceed strategic territory targets.
- Promote the company’s bearing technology and innovative tribological solutions, leveraging technical acumen and value selling strategies.
- Manage all aspects of business planning for the assigned customer base, including development of account plans aligned with strategic business priorities.
- Partner with Timken Sales and with GGB operations, business development, product management, and marketing to influence and align with the Timken & GGB Strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in bearing sales or relevant industrial sectors.
- Proven mechanical aptitude to provide customers with technical support throughout the sales cycle.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and a commitment to ethical action and integrity.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
- Travel required on an as-needed basis to provide customer support and develop new opportunities.
- Salary Range: The yearly compensation for this role is $88,920 - $108,680 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Actual pay may be higher or lower than the posted range.
