The Role Will Involve:

  • Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including complex automated production machinery, control panels, and control systems.
  • Minimising downtime within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Working with both modern and legacy machinery across a large factory site.
  • Supporting the Maintenance Manager with site projects and operational requirements.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment performance and efficiency.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a Level 3 NVQ/C&G qualification (or higher) in either mechanical or electrical engineering. Maintenance experience in a similar position within a manufacturing/production or distribution environment is also required. Successful candidates will undergo security vetting and will need a clean criminal record and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years.

Shift Pattern:

  • Weekly rotating double‑day shift Monday to Friday.
  • Hours are 6 am–2 pm (early shift) and 2 pm–10 pm (late shift).
  • Opportunity to pick up extra shifts/hours as overtime paid at 1.5×.
