Role summary
Join a fast-growing cloud innovator at the forefront of Data Management & AI as Channel Sales Director. This quota-carrying, hunting role is dedicated to developing new partnerships, driving marketplace reach and accelerating regional growth in a focus market. The ideal candidate thrives on identifying, recruiting and enabling partners, with a relentless commitment to new business generation and competitive expansion.
Key chunks of work include
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SMB, Mid-Market and General Business partners across the UK&I region.
- Drive the discovery, recruitment and onboarding of new prospective partners, resellers and distributors.
- Build and maintain relationships with Data & AI practice leaders.
- Regularly analyze partner portfolio performance, implement enablement best practices and set ambitious sales and revenue goals.
- Champion marketplace competitive intelligence and proactively identify untapped partner segments.
- Track, measure and report on partner activity, ensuring measurable growth and success.
- Create escalation plans for partner issues and ensure partner investment in certification and skill development.
We want a Sales Leader with
- 8+ years building strategic partnerships, alliances, or business development within SaaS or cloud environments.
- Proven record as a quota-carrying hunter for channel, not just account management and demonstrated by new partner and customer acquisition.
- Expert at prospecting, business case presentation and market mapping.
- Cloud and data management experience is a plus.
- Outstanding written and spoken communication in English.
- Willing and able to travel up to 50%.
- Applicants must be based in, and have the unrestricted right to work in the UK or Ireland. Relocation and sponsorship are not currently available for this position.
