Overview
The Alliance Manager is responsible for growing, nurturing and maximising the success of our onboarded partners. Working with the Channel Sales Director, Head of Sales and the broader GTM sales team, you’ll ensure partners are enabled and engaged and drive measurable revenue growth and mutual success. This role blends relationship management, commercial acumen and operational excellence in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Activate, own and optimise performance of assigned partner portfolio to achieve growth and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic quarterly business plans and joint go‑to‑market initiatives with focus and development partners.
- Build deep consultative relationships; mentor partners on sales enablement, opportunity discovery, and solution positioning.
- Lead quarterly business reviews, analyse KPIs and provide data‑driven recommendations to partners and internal stakeholders.
- Work with Sales teams on co‑sell, ensuring deal progression and removing any partner blockers to ensure a successful outcome.
- Oversee renewals, compliance, reporting and contract management for partner accounts working closely with sales and success teams.
- Orchestrate internal and external partner enablement sessions including sales, product and marketing resources.
- Enable the sales, presales and marketing teams on the value of key focus and development partners, highlight the why and what value it can bring to our customers and internal teams.
- Identify and activate up‑sell, cross‑sell, and expansion opportunities through partners; support deal management with internal teams.
- Lead or support collaborative marketing campaigns, webinars, events and co‑branded initiatives ensuring our marketing development funds are utilised and allocated as per the partner programme tiers.
- Advocate for partner needs cross‑functionally, resolving issues and securing resources.
- Work on annual partner plans and updated on the partner programmes which further increase our partner contribution, value and success.
- Maintain accurate records of partner activities, deals and program engagement in PCRM, CRM and partner management platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SaaS partnerships, channel sales, account management or related roles.
- Strong record of managing and growing revenue and KPIs through partner channels.
- Experience developing and executing joint business and marketing plans.
- Outstanding communication, influencing and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Analytical and data‑driven approach; expertise with CRM/PRM systems (e.g. HubSpot).
- Strategic thinker with high commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
- Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success teams.
- Ability to travel occasionally for partner meetings and events.
