Year 5 Class Teacher Job available in Winchester
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 (Year 5) Class Teacher to join our school in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact on the learning and development of primary school students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating an engaging learning environment, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
This is a temporary job from January 2026 initially for 1 term. This is a part time class teaching role, ideally 3 days a week and full planning will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the national curriculum guidelines for Year 5
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor students\’ progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with specific educational needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support students\’ overall development.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2.
