About the Role
TimePlan Education are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a nurturing and vibrant early years setting in Roehampton on a part-time basis (3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating inspiring learning experiences for young children. As a Nursery Teacher, you will lead the planning and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children's development in a stimulating, inclusive, and caring environment. You will play a key role in fostering children's confidence, curiosity, and love of learning while building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's learning, development, and emotional well-being
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment
- Build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive and enriching early years setting
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
- Contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning within the nursery
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years teaching qualification
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- A nurturing, patient, and child-centred approach
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
