We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised School Administrator to join a school on a full-time, temporary, ongoing basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and finance/accounts experience to contribute to the smooth running of the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of daily administrative and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming visitors, signing them in, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Answering and directing phone calls, handling enquiries from parents, staff, and external agencies
- General office administration including filing, record-keeping, and correspondence
- Supporting the school's finance and accounts department with invoicing, processing payments, and budget tracking
- Managing school supplies and procurement processes
- Assisting with staff and student records maintenance
- Providing administrative support to senior staff as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or similar administrative role
- Strong finance and accounts experience (knowledge of school financial procedures is advantageous)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and school management systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and professional approach to work
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
