CambridgeTime Plan Education are recruiting an SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN.
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will support students either one-on-one or in group settings throughout the school day. You will work with children aged 5-11 who have identified SEND needs. Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, participating in specialist mentoring sessions, and assisting during some break times. Some students may exhibit more challenging behaviours, and the school will provide training in effective interventions and strategies. As a key member of the child\’s support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS.
The school is an SEND School based just outside of Cambridge, which is known for its dynamic team and supportive SLT.
Job Responsibilities
Comfortable supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other educational needs.
Ability to engage and support pupils.

Job Requirements
Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
