TimePlan Education is recruiting a Qualified Teacher to join a specialist SEND primary school in Barnet on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. The role will involve teaching all core subjects within a KS1 class, with some additional KS2 teaching on a Friday afternoon. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum, working closely with support staff to ensure consistent pupil progress and engagement. This is a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate will be supporting pupils with ASD, alongside some SEMH and behaviour support needs.
The ideal teacher will be calm, professional, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils. You should be confident delivering creative, sensory, and highly differentiated lessons across all subjects, promoting communication, independence, and engagement. Experience in specialist SEND settings is desirable.
