A specialist provision for pupils with Autism, aged 7-16. The school is seeking a SEND Teacher to join the team and help shape this growing provision. This role focuses on inclusive practice, small class sizes, tailored learning and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching pupils with Autism across primary and secondary age ranges (7-16).
  • Planning and delivering personalised, engaging lessons.
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Working closely with therapists, support staff and families.
  • Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
  • Have experience teaching pupils with ASD/SEND.
  • Be confident differentiating learning to meet individual needs.
  • Have a patient, flexible and child-centred approach.
  • Be enthusiastic about working in an independent specialist setting.
