The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and physical or behavioural challenges.
The Role
- You'll work closely with teachers and support staff to help students access learning, stay engaged, and build confidence.
- This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting pupils both in class and through targeted 1:1 or small group work.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Support students with EHCPs across lessons
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Encourage communication, engagement, and positive behaviour
- Assist with supervision, welfare, and personal care where required
- Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
