Experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Brixton
Location: Brixton, London
Pay: Β£89 - Β£115 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and nurturing school in Brixton. You will be supporting pupils across a range of age groups and learning abilities, including those with:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Moderate and Complex Learning Difficulties
Your role will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and adapting lessons
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Encouraging independence and engagement in learning activities
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in supporting children with a range of SEN needs
- Patient, empathetic, and confident in managing challenging behaviour
- Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A great communicator with a proactive and flexible attitude
- Ideally holding a relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training)
