A fantastic Special School in Watford is on the lookout for a caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their supportive team. You'll be working closely with the SENCO and a team of experienced SEN TAs to deliver bespoke, engaging lessons to students aged 11-16, each with unique learning needs.

About the Role:

  • Deliver personalised lessons tailored to the individual needs of your students
  • Work closely with the SENCO to develop and adapt EHCP-led strategies
  • Collaborate with dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants who are truly part of the classroom team
  • Teach in a nurturing, well-resourced environment with a strong focus on student wellbeing

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) desirable but not essential
  • A patient, creative, and compassionate approach to teaching
  • SEN experience is not essential - the school welcomes applications from Primary specialists and those new to SEN
  • A genuine desire to support and inspire young people with additional needs
