An inclusive secondary school is seeking a caring and committed SEN Support Assistant to support students with additional needs. This role will suit someone who is passionate about helping every learner access education and feel supported in school. You may work 1:1 or with small groups, supporting students with autism, ADHD, social, emotional, and mental health needs, or other learning differences. Experience in SEN is helpful, but transferable experience and the right attitude are equally valued.
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
- A calm, nurturing, and flexible approach.
- Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH, or related needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff.
- Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references.
