Location: Southampton Start Date: January 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our vibrant schools in Southampton, starting January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a love for scientific inquiry. As a Science Teacher, you will be committed to promoting high standards of academic achievement and supporting students in their learning journey. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team, contributing to the development of a dynamic curriculum that prepares students for success in their exams and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth. Develop and implement differentiated learning plans to meet the needs of all students. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum. Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities. Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Science or a related field. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Science. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
