Are you passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey? We are working with a welcoming and highly regarded primary school seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning from day one.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Role
- Supporting pupils within a Reception classroom
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging Early Years learning activities
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support where required
- Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
