We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Primary School Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply work across primary schools in Luton and the surrounding area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced cover supervisors, teaching assistants looking to step up, education graduates, or individuals considering a career in teaching who are seeking flexible work and valuable classroom experience in a primary school setting.
The Role
- Supervising primary classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Supporting pupils' learning, behaviour, and personal development
- Maintaining classroom routines and managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing feedback to the school at the end of the day
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Confident, adaptable, and professional in the classroom
- Able to manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment
