TimePlan Education is seeking confident and reliable Cover Teachers and Cover Supervisors to support a range of primary and secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity for both qualified teachers and aspiring educators looking to gain valuable classroom experience and make a positive impact on students' learning within supportive and dynamic school environments.
The Role
- Deliver pre-set lessons and supervise classes across Key Stages 1 - 4 in the absence of the regular teacher
- Ensure students remain on task, engaged, and completing the work provided
- Create and maintain a positive, focused learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Provide clear feedback to teaching staff on student progress, engagement, and behaviour
The Ideal Candidate
- Open to both qualified teachers (QTS) and unqualified candidates with relevant experience working with young people
- Confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour across a range of subjects
- Passionate about supporting students and maintaining continuity of learning
- Flexible, reliable, and able to quickly adapt to different school settings
- Strong communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude
- Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
- Available for supply work ASAP
