TimePlan Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Ashton. This role is to start Jan 2026 and offers a rewarding opportunity to support children in a HIVE classroom, supporting children with additional needs.

The Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students reach their full potential
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
