Lunch Time Care Worker – Part-Time

Part-time 2 hours per day

Timeplan is looking for a Lunch Time Care Worker to work in a SEND School based in Tower Hamlets, between the hours of 10am – 2pm. You will be responsible for overseeing the pupil\’s lunchtime meals and activities. This will include supporting children with eating their food, coordinating activities outside, supervising their behaviour and assisting with personal care when needed.

Experience is not necessary as training will be given. Previous experience with children or adults with additional needs would be helpful. Our school supports children with various learning difficulties and disabilities, so we are looking for candidates that are compassionate, patient and calm.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a Care Support Worker or Care Assistant
  • Experience supporting young adults or adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 5 days a week
  • Able to commit to hours between 10.30am – 2.00pm for 2 hours
  • Able to commit to 3-6 months
