Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school?
TimePlan Education is currently working with a welcoming school in Redbridge that is looking for a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who can quickly settle into a classroom, build strong relationships with pupils and provide effective support from day one.
The Role
- Support the class teacher with day-to-day teaching and learning
- Work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
- Support children with their literacy, numeracy and wider learning
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
- Assist with classroom activities, preparation and organisation
- Help promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
We're Looking For
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
- Have a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development
- Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proactive, reliable and adaptable
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Be available to start ASAPExperience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs would be advantageous.
