Time Plan Education is looking for exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools.
We are seeking confident professionals who can provide high-quality, individualised support and make a lasting impact on pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
We’re looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who
- Have extensive experience providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs in a school setting.
- Have experience supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.
- Have strong phonics knowledge and experience, with the confidence to support early reading using recognised phonics programmes and reinforce literacy skills through targeted interventions.
- Can confidently adapt learning to meet individual needs and learning styles.
- Build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Are calm, patient, adaptable, and resilient when managing challenging situations.
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team and communicate confidently with teachers and SEND professionals.
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Your Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning, communication, or behavioural needs.
- Deliver personalised interventions, including phonics and literacy support, to help pupils make measurable progress.
- Work closely with class teachers and SENDCos to implement individual education plans and behaviour strategies.
- Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, communication, and emotional regulation.
- Promote an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Record progress and provide valuable feedback to teaching staff.
