Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Support Staff to work within welcoming primary schools supporting pupils with:
- Phonics interventions
- Speech and Language support
- Small group and 1:1 interventions
- Early literacy and numeracy development
- SEND and additional learning needs
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, graduates, or individuals with a background in education, childcare, speech and language, or youth support.
The Role
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
- Build confidence, communication and engagement
- Support children academically and emotionally
We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Knowledge of phonics schemes is desirable
- Speech and Language or SEND experience is advantageous
