TimePlan Education are recruiting on behalf of a lovely independent school in Kingston for a dedicated and proactive Premises Manager to join their welcoming community.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the maintenance, safety, and presentation of a well‑maintained school site and its sports grounds. You will play a key role in ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and visually outstanding for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours
- Term Time: 7:15am - 4:15pm (30-minute lunch break)
- School Holidays: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + Bank Holidays (to be taken during school holidays)
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school buildings and grounds
- Responsibility for sports grounds maintenance and presentation
- Carrying out repairs, decorating, and basic DIY tasks
- Managing site health & safety compliance and routine inspections
- Opening/locking the premises and ensuring site security
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing external works
- Supporting school events and operations when required

- Has previous premises, site management, or caretaking experience
- Is hands‑on, reliable, and proactive

- Has good knowledge of health & safety regulations
