TimePlan Education are pleased to be working with local primary schools in Tower Hamlets seeking top graduates to join them from September 2026 for the full academic year! This Graduate Teaching Assistant role will see you working with pupils from EYFS to KS2, helping to shape your future career within education. This opportunity is ideal for aspiring teachers pursuing careers in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or other child-focused professions. We are actively looking for graduates who are passionate about working within their local communities and making a lasting impact on the next generation.
The Role
- Supporting pupils in and out of the classroom
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions
- Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs
- Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Starting at 8:30 to 4:00, Term Time Only
Ideal Candidates Will
- Be a recent graduate from a Top 50 UK university
- Have previous experience working with children, either formally or informally
- Have a positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
- Be passionate about working with young people
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be considering a future career in teaching or education
