Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner or Childcare Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule? TimePlan Education is working with a range of welcoming nurseries, primary schools and early years settings across East London and Essex, and we're looking to expand our bank of reliable Nursery TAs for September 2026. Whether you're qualified or unqualified, already working in early years or looking to gain valuable experience working with young children, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play
  • Assisting with activities based around the EYFS framework
  • Providing support during indoor and outdoor learning
  • Helping with routines including meals, nappy changing and personal care where required
  • Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development
  • Creating a safe, positive and stimulating environment
  • Working alongside Nursery Practitioners, Teachers and other support staff

No two days are the same, making bank work a fantastic way to build experience across different settings.

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualified Nursery Practitioners and Teaching Assistants
  • Candidates with childcare qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3
  • Graduates interested in gaining early years experience
  • Experienced childcare workers
  • Candidates with previous nursery, school, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering experience
  • Unqualified candidates with a genuine passion for working with children
